Kamala was an Amargosan settler who lived in the Amundsen Mountains at the time of the Gelt Incursion. A former Marine, she donned her old uniform and became Chapaan‘s second-in-command when recruited by the Northern Resistance. She briefly took command when Chapaan left to make contact with the main resistance in the Founders Mine. However, Ellie Nardino aborted the mission in favor of marching on Deming.
