Arvin (died 430 IE) was an Amargosan settler from the Amundsen Mountains who reluctantly joined the Northern Resistance. In the beginning, he refused to join, preferring to fight all Gelt, including those in the resistance and refusing to believe sapient lycanths existed. Once persuaded by humans in the cell, he not only joined but moved up to squad leader and eventually war council. However, he did so believing Chapaan was actually Suicide. When he discovered she was a fifteen-year-old girl named Ellie Nardino, he tried to kill her. Under Section 11 of the Compact, Warrior Caste laws, and the laws of lycanth packs, such an unjustified attack on a leader had to result in death. He was devoured by the lycanths in the cell as his death sentence.
