Demeter was a core world and one of four Earth-like planets in the Helios System. The sixth planet out, the planet derived its name from the Greek equivalent of Ceres, which, in Sol System, was the largest asteroid and once believed to be the fifth planet..
A Class-E Planet, Demeter sat at the outer edge of Helios’s Goldilocks zone. It had a frigid climate compared to the other three Class-E worlds in the system. It had a thriving mining industry in its remote areas.
