Akon is the only son of the late Sovereign and Mulda, Sovereign Consort and leader of the Medical Caste. At age thirteen, he was deemed too young to Ascend following his father’s death in 429 IE, prompting a months-long debate among the Seat of Supremacy. The Council ultimately refused to install a regency, a tradition not seen in over four centuries.
As part of her conditional acceptance of elevation, Sansar Aryanna named Akon her heir, with the understanding that he would be Elevated without contest upon her death or abdication. He came of age and became eligible for full succession shortly during Aryanna’s brief reign in 430 IE.
