Chronos

Star System: Helios
Type: Class J (Gas Giant)
Summary:

Chronos is the Helios system’s analog to Saturn—a vast, pale gas giant notable for what it lacks: unlike its Sol counterpart, Chronos has no prominent ring system. Instead, it is often described by locals and astronomers alike as “a fog bank aspiring to be a planet,” due to its muted coloration, dense upper atmosphere, and lack of visual contrast.

Despite its size, Chronos is largely ignored compared to its more strategically valuable neighbor, Zeus. However, it remains a subject of occasional atmospheric and gravitational studies due to its unusually stable outer layers and slow rotational wobble.
