Anacreon was a colony of the core world of Etrusca. It was setup for invasion by the Gelt by JunoCorp. In 429 IE, a Gelt invasion fleet targeted the colony. The operation was foiled by an awaiting task force commanded by Vice Admiral Eileen Burke and Force Admiral Quentin Austin. The Gelt commander on the ground, Laral Farad, revealed that a representative of JunoCorp informed his family that Anacreon was an illegally occupied colony. After retrieving wounded and burning the Gelt dead in funeral rites, Laral departed.
