Neptune was an ice giant and the eighth major planet in Sol System. Sparesly populated due to its distance from the rest of the system, it was a part of the Jovian Federation, a constituent authority in the Compact. The Compact Navy maintained a secret base on Nereid, one of Neptune’s satellites.
