Kaya Gota was an Orag who worked in the Amortality Research Department at Richard Byrd University. She had been present when the High Normaj Jayne underwent amortality therapy in 259 IE. In 429 IE, after Jayne visited the department with Douglas Best, Kaya suffered a traffic accident that left her in a coma.
