Incendiary nanites were a type of nanite that could either incinerate a human body or turn it into a bomb. The latter version became a weapon used by scattered human settlers to attack their occupiers. Lucius Kray admitted he supplied the nanites originally, but one settler came ashore in Riverside and took out a squad of Kray’s militia.
Another type was used by Jez Salamacis to hide evidence of her existence after a suicide mission to the Realm Throneworld. Coupled with the drugs used to make her feel only pleasure before she turned to ash, she actually felt sexually aroused as she disintegrated.
