Force Admiral Red Cloud, a Sioux and a member of the prominent Red Cloud family, was a senior officer with the Navy‘s presence on Dakota. Red Cloud showed reluctance to assist with Linda Havak‘s mission, having been left out of the loop about warp drive. Once Tol Germanicus intervened in the rescue of John Farno, Red Cloud displayed an attraction to Havak, which she did not return.
