O-5 Chavez was a Cybercommand officer assigned to Aphrodite after Gerard Kurz caused catastrophic damage to Boone's Landing, Ares. Chavez and her team verified the rescue of Mitsuko Yamato by ALF operatives Patchi and Keernith Rajani. It was Chavez who learned from them Sakimoto‘s plan to betray Mitsuko to Jez Salamacis, further tying the radical Cubist movement to Juno. She also revealed to Mitsuko her rescuers were known as the butchers of Sanctuary.
Chavez would travel with Mitsuko to the Jack Swigert. There, Mitsuko’s identity was verified enough for her to perform a Section 11 execution.
