Castes were social levels and divisions within the Realm. Larger castes, such as peaasants, clergy, and Warriors *(this last always capitalized in Humanic, detemined both social standing and roles available in Realm society. Others, such as legal, diplomatic, or education, defined a person’s role more specifically and could overlap the large caste designations.
